The operation involves revitalising an office building to make it more attractive by transforming the common spaces and allowing easier appropriation by the user. The creation of cross views between the common spaces ensures new moments of meeting and sharing. By positioning a triple-height room in the centre of the plan, the new visual perspectives connect the lobby, the restaurant, the bar and the new “co-working” areas. This room also allows natural light to enter the basement areas. The conversion of the inner courtyard into a tree-lined garden creates moments of respite in a soothing and stimulating setting, while the introduction of a new material such as wood makes the spaces more convivial and warmer.
